Luvosint PPS (Coming soon)
Flame resistance for railway, aircraft, and mobility applications
LUVOSINT® PPS 9268 BK from Lehmann & Voss, developed with Siemens, is a flame-retardant polyphenylene sulfide powder characterized by excellent rigidity, strength, and dimensional stability.
The printed components satisfy the R1HL3, R7HL3, and R17HL3 criteria defined in DIN EN 45545-2, corresponding to the highest flame protection category in railway engineering.
Besides excellent flame resistance (and low smoke gas toxicity), parts printed with this material withstand high temperatures (HDT A 196 °C), and have an outstanding chemical resistance, making it ideal for demanding environments.
