Tailored manufacturing solutions
Because you needs deserve more than ordinary answers
If your additive manufacturing needs go beyond just high-performance / metal-replacement parts 3D printing, Verne AM is the partner you’ve been looking for.
Here are the high-value-added services and products we can offer you.
SLS powders development support for chemical companies
Having worked closely with some of the most renowned global chemical companies for many years, we developed extensive experience in process development for selective laser sintering materials.
Besides the materials in our high-temperature portfolio, through the years we’ve helped develop and set up machine profiles for materials like PA11, PA12, PA6, PA612, TPU, Polypropylene, CoPoE and Thermosets.
We can define the best working parameters for your next laser-sintering polymer, to make you and your customers immediately productive with the new material.
The personalized development support includes:
- Thermal process: Warm-up, build temperature, optimal thermal distribution, cool-down.
- Energy definition: Laser type, laser power, scan spacing, energy density.
- Print-style optimization: Offsets, thin details, delays.
We also provide on-site or remote customer training for the installation of your materials.
Laser Sintering printer location for labs and R&D centers
If you need to test industrial-grade laser sintering technology, but you don’t want to commit to an investment that often far exceeds €100k and with high maintenance costs, we can offer an SLS printer for rent for 6-month periods.
The location solution includes:
- Working temperature: 220 degrees
- Print volume: 27 liters
- Recoating system: roller
- Powder loading: bottom-feed
- Compatibility: Nylon 11/12, TPUs
- Nitrogen generator: included
- Training: included
- Maintenance: included
It’s the ideal fit for research centers and OEMs assessing advanced manufacturing solutions.
A dedicated SLS printer, in our factory
High-temperature polymer powder bed 3D printing requires specialized systems and skilled, trained personnel.
In certain sectors, such as medical and healthcare, the 3D printer must be dedicated exclusively to selected materials and calibrated with extreme precision.
For this reason, we offer customers with daily production needs and stringent technical requirements the option of exclusively renting one or more of our high-temperature printing systems.
The program includes:
- One or more systems dedicated to a specific customer/application
- Specific tuning of the 3D printer and daily control of the printing parameters
- Guarantee of zero material contamination
- One operator specifically trained for the customer’s application
- Lead time certainty for the printed parts
R&D Version of the STROM, for your lab
For universities and research centers, we are developing an R&D-ready version of our STROM 3D printer.
With a print volume of 5.8 liters, the printer is perfect for small powder batch tests and tensile bars printing in X/Y/Z direction.
- Build chamber temp: Up to 380°C
- Laser power: 40W CO2 Laser (Fiber laser option available)
- Focusing: Theta-lens.
- Build Size: 180 x 180 x 180 mm
- Part bed temperature control: Advanced IR camera
