Precision 3D Scanning Services

Accurate 3D digitization for digital warehousing, manufacturing, design, and inspection

Using our laser 3D scanners, we capture the geometry of your parts down to the smallest detail and transform it into a 3D file with exceptional accuracy.

With a scanning range of 10 mm to 6 meters and a base accuracy of 0.02 mm, Verne AM 3D digitization services are the perfect solution for large- to small-scale geometry capture.

These high-resolution 3D files can then be used as the base for digital warehousing and reverse engineering complex parts whose original drawings are lost, topology optimization, dimensional inspections, or 3D printing and CNC machining of exact replicas. Depending on our customers’ needs, we can export files in polygonal formats (STL, OBJ, and PLY), as well as surface-type formats (IGES and STEP).

3D Scanning for Aerospace & Defense

Reverse engineering for legacy parts manufacturing is one of the most common applications, but 3D scanning is also a great QC tool to verify tolerances, surface geometry, and overall dimensional accuracy.

Also, capturing complex, organic shapes (such as turbine blades or fuselage surfaces) is great for design refinement and simulation.

Another interesting application is in the field of Armor & Ballistics Design: Capturing accurate human body scans for designing protective gear, helmets, and body armor tailored to fit soldiers.

3D Scanning for Healthcare

Scanning a patient’s body allows for the design of perfectly fitted prosthetic limbs, orthotic braces, or support devices.

One of the key advantages of 3D scanning is that it is completely safe. Unlike X-rays or MRIs, which rely on radiation and carry inherent risks, 3D scanning poses no such concerns.

The technology captures an object’s position in the real world and records it in virtual form using low-energy laser beams – without any harmful effects.

3D Scanning for Automotive

Large-scale 3D scanning can be useful for capturing the geometry of bodyworks, interiors, and even engine parts, often for vehicles that are no longer manufactured, to allow the production of spare parts that perfectly match the original model.
